Even if this project includes mainly IT based activities and cooperation, at the very beginning we felt that it would be nice to write to each other and send by snail mail picture postcards of the towns / villages where we live. It was quite a challenge to get 15 - 19 different ones. However, the same cards were never the same since they were written by different people. Getting traditional postcards is not common nowadays, the more excited and happy we were when they were delivered. It also was a great motivation to get to know our new friends from Germany / the Czech Republic. We studied the picture postcards carefully and the next activity was based on them – we asked a set of questions about the places in the pictures and our partners answered them. In October, soon after we started working on the project, we announced a LOGO competition. The students either in their art classes or on their own at home created wonderful drafts that were exhibited in the twinspace. Then all of the students had a chance to vote and choose the LOGO they liked best for the project.
